Creator FAQ
Straight answers about keys, campaigns, payments, and your content.
Is Key Claimer free?
Yes. Creators never pay to use Key Claimer.
If I claim a key, what do I owe?
At least one public stream, video, or short featuring the game within 30 days (or by the campaign date). Keep it up for at least 30 days.
Can I keep or sell a key?
No. Keys are only for making content. Misused keys get deactivated, and you may lose access to future keys and campaigns.
How do paid campaigns work?
Apply through the campaign page. If the studio or The Game Marketer approves you, we’ll contact you to agree the rate and deliverables before you start.
Who pays me, and when?
The Game Marketer pays you directly once your content is verified and has stayed live for the agreed period. Payment details are handled over email, never on the site.
Are payments based on views?
No, unless a specific campaign says otherwise.
Do I have to disclose sponsored content?
Yes. Use #ad, “paid partnership,” or your platform’s disclosure tool. This applies to free keys as well as paid deals.
Can I work with other platforms or agencies?
Yes. There’s no exclusivity.
Who owns my content?
You do. Studios can share it in connection with the campaign, but any wider use, such as ads, needs your separate agreement.
What if my key doesn’t work?
Email influencer@thegamemarketer.com and we’ll help sort it out with the studio.
What happens if I don’t post?
Your access to future keys and campaigns may be limited or paused.
